My brake pads were gone at about 17,000 kms - but they are pretty cheap - lots of aftermarket possiblities and easty to change
The wear is directly related to the kind of riding you do - blasting through whoop- tee - doos with lots of acceleration and breaking as opposed to long straight highway runs.
Not sure there is any comparision with your car - nor should there be - different vehicles - different driving styles -
Do as Hogryder suggests and check the drag when you have the new ones installed though - just in case.
